The
basis of any ATE is the ability to create a viable test environment in
order to ensure that the test measurements are an accurate reflection
of the real world application usage. In order to achieve the best results,
effective and reliable switching capability is required. The dynamics
and complexities of the test environments define the requirements for
switching. Furthermore, sensitivity to "noise" within the test
environment can present additional frustration in reaching a viable testing
solution.
